The award-winning Capella Bar & Cigar Lounge in Germany boasts of an exclusive and exquisite Cigar club featuring a wide range of smokes and extravagant decor.
The modern-day Hollywood classic, the Titanic featured a memorable scene when Kate Winslet’s Rose takes Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jack around the first-class dining hall and explains the intricacies of a formal dinner, including the men retiring to the cigar room for some ‘intellectual’ discussion. Such was the importance of post-dinner cigar and scotch in the Victorian era. Gentlemen were known to gather together after a formal dinner to discuss more manly issues, while the ladies were left to their feminine chatter. Taking a cue from this sophisticated ritual, many luxury hotels sport cigar lounges, but none as extravagant as the one at Capella Bar & Cigar Lounge in Breidenbacher Hof, Dusseldorf, Germany.
