Amidst the revelry and excitement of the Hublot and Cheval Blanc Courchevel Slalom event in Courchevel France on February 28th, the world renowned watchmakers added a new name to their impressive line-up of Brand Ambassadors. Parisian chef Yanik Alléno was welcomed into the Hublot family by Chief Marketing Officer Philippe Tardivel and Benoit Lecigne. Brand CEO Richard Guadalupe also described Chef Yanik Alléno’s embodiment of the values which Hublot holds dear.
In 2013, Chef Yanik spearheaded the Cuisine Moderne movement which redefined the approach to the culinary arts. His ideas for the movement were presented in the Réflexions d’un cuisinier (Reflections of a Chef) collection as well. Hailing from a family of bistro owner, Chef Yanik Alléno now heads sixteen restaurants across the world, with two, Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc in Courchevel and Pavillion Ledoyen in Paris each being awarded three prestigious Michelin Stars. Yanik emphasizes the use of local produce to create contemporary dishes and truly represents the ideals of passion, excellence and commitment, making him an ideal ambassador for an exceptional horological brand like Hublot.
Expressing his honour and gratitude at being named a Hublot brand ambassador, chef Yanik Alléno drew a parallel between his own profession and fine watchmaking. He said of the culinary arts ‘Our profession often relies on precision timing, and we share with watchmaking the fundamental values of tradition and innovation’.

The 9th Annual Hublot & Cheval Blanc Courchevel Slalom event saw approximately one hundred participants demonstrate the incredible skill and precision needed to complete the slalom course. Each participant was accompanied by an instructor from ESF Courchevel and the refereshments were prepared by none other than Hublot’s newest ambassador, Chef Yanik Alléno.
To end the enjoyable event, participants were able to indulge in an Alpine themed cocktail specially created by Yanik while watching a live cooking demonstration and tasting innovative dishes. In a fitting end to the festivities, and paying homage to the Hublot motto of ‘The Art of Fusion’, a dessert shaped like a mountain and adorned with a stylized Hublot ‘H’ was flambéed for the guests. Chef Yanik Alléno was then presented with a Hublot watchmakers apron embroidered with his name.
Chef Yanik Alléno joins a long list of Hublot brand ambassaors including football superstar Pelé, running legend Usain Bolt and golfing champion Dustin Johnson, each at the very top of their respective fields. With a shared commitment to expertise and excellence, Yanik is the perfect choice as the brand’s newest ambassador.
