Inspired by the typical French “Salon de Thé”, a concept that emerged at the beginning of the 20th century, L’Opéra, a high-end, authentic pastry and bakery house in New Delhi, is setting a new trend in the Indian market for high-end culinary products, based on innovative ideas.
Christmas being one of the most important holidays of the year, the special range of Christmas treats by L’Opéra includes classic Gingerbread and Shortbread biscuits with a variety of inviting and festive colours as well as Belgian chocolates in the shape of Monsieur Santa Claus!
On popular demand and for the first time, L’Opéra has introduced two season favourites: Black Forest Bûche and Red Velvet Bûche. The Bûchen are crafted with a quintessential French touch and the Yule logs masterfully combine Christmas flavours from different parts of Europe. The new Berrila Bûche, made with vanilla, Mascarpone and wild berries is an explosion of fruit and Italian cheese, with a balanced, colourful, and sumptuous presentation.
L’Opéra – Christmas treats
Also called Citrus Brioche, this is a delicacy from the south of France; a delightfully soft cake made with orange zest and just enough sweetness.

Christmas pudding is a type of pudding traditionally served on Christmas Day as part of the Christmas dinner. It finds its origins in Europe during the Middle Ages. Flavoured with cinnamon, ginger and other winter spices, the pudding is composed of many dried fruits, including prunes and figs, and is held together by egg and flour.
Black Forest Bûche
L’Opéra’s French adaptation of the classic German gateau, this Yule log version masterfully combines dark chocolate mousse, a layer of ever-so-sweet Amarena cherry, all placed upon a crunchy Feuillantine base.
Red Velvet Bûche
This renowned dessert is, now for the first time, crafted with L’Opéra quintessential French Touch. Elements like cream cheese mousse and fruit jelly make this red velvet Yule log unique.
