Located in the recently inaugurated prestigious Wynn Palace in Cotai, the new A. Lange & Söhne mono-brand store in Macao is yet another milestone in the company’s development strategy for Asia Pacific.
“The opening of our fourth boutique in Greater China is a commitment to Lange’s loyal fan base in the region and a signal of the long-term importance of Asian markets for our company,” says Gaetan Guillosson, Managing Director Asia Pacific at A. Lange & Söhne. Since its first appearance in 1995 in Asia, A. Lange & Söhne has sustainably reinforced and extended its position in the area.
Spread over 63.5 metres, the Lange boutique in Macao is still immediately recognisable thanks to the use of the characteristic Lange grey, which beautifully sets off the showcases and brand logo. The proportions of the wall units have been altered and now conform to the golden ratio. Also, the distinctive panels on the wall units have been reworked and finished with decorative metal strips.
During the redesign, special attention was paid to product presentation. Lights in two specially chosen colours now ensure that the timepieces are illuminated to optimum effect. Visitors with time on their hands are welcome to try out the new, specially developed seats. Raw-edged leather, carefully designed stitching and the use of oak are all testament to the brand’s affinity with skilled craftsmanship. However, there is more to discover in the new A. Lange & Söhne boutique than furniture.
In the lounge, a beautifully illustrated timeline on the wall tells the story of A. Lange & Söhne from 1815 to the present day. Like the timepieces, each boutique is brimming with details waiting to be discovered. Each one tells its own little story and makes visiting a boutique an exciting journey into the world of A. Lange & Söhne.
The new home of A. Lange & Söhne in Macao offers watch connoisseurs the complete experience of Saxon watchmaking artistry including the latest debuts and exclusive boutique models.
