As the official timekeeper of Juventus Football Club, Hublot welcomed the team at its 5th Avenue Boutique in New York City.
On 20th July, 2017, Hublot celebrated its association with renowned football club and brand partner, Juventus. The team was welcomed at its 5th Avenue Boutique in New York City in Italian tradition. The team kicks off their US tour at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The match will be played for the International Champions Cup against FC Barcelona. Hublot has been the official timekeeper of the Juventus Football Club since 2012.
Jean-François Sberro, Managing Director, Hublot U.S., played host to the team at the event. He introduced key players such as Sami Khedira, Mario Mandžuki and Stephan Lichtsteiner. The event was also attended by Friend of Hublot, TV personality, sports analyst for ESPN, and former New York Giant – Jesse Palmer. The New York Red Bulls soccer team performed choreographed technical routines to entertain the crowd. Sberro formally welcomed the Juventus Officials and the players, and provided a brief history of the partnership. The floor was then thrown open to questions from the media.
To commemorate the brand’s association with Juventus Football Club, Hublot had launched Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Juventus in 2015. It represents the iconic colours of the ‘Old Lady’ of Italian football. That’s the name Juventus has earned for itself among soccer lovers. The Big Bang was uniquely designed for timing the two 45-minute halves of a football game.
With Hublot’s continued support of football, novelties by this brand are sure to excite sportsmen around the world.
