Global Wellness Day 2016 will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11 and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will be wholeheartedly participating in it.
With the aim to encourage people on following a better lifestyle, the Global Wellness Day works with the tagline – ‘one day can change your whole life.’ It promotes healthy habits such as drinking more water, eating organic food, socialising with friends and family offline, etc.
As part of its Global Wellness Day celebration, Mandarin Oriental will be offering a variety of complimentary wellness activities, which include a guided jog around the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, a Pilates class in the fragrant Spa Garden in Marrakech, a complimentary sky-high fitness training circuit with harbour views in Hong Kong and a guided singing bowl meditation in Miami. The restaurants of the hotels will match the wellness fervour with healthy juices and cuisine. The hotel stall, too, will be involved in these activities.
“Encouraging wellness has always been an important component of the Spas at Mandarin Oriental, and we are pleased to take part in this global initiative. We hope our guests and colleagues will use this event as a chance to reflect on and celebrate their own wellness practices,” said Jeremy McCarthy, Group Director of Spa, Mandarin Oriental.
