De Grisogono unveiled its high jewellery collection at the Grand Palais at the 26th edition of Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris. It includes earrings, rings and a necklace. The highlight of this collection is the extremely high quality of diamonds used in creating each jewellery piece. The collection, called Folies, pays tribute to the designer Fawaz Gruosi’s creativity, which boasts of colour combinations, chiaroscuro effects, black rhodium coatings and the use of black diamonds or carbonado.
In the newest collection Gruosi uses a variety of original and large-sized stones. With rail and invisible techniques, he introduces uniquely innovative settings ensuring an inimitable sparkle and radiance to the precious gemstones. The use of claws (prongs) surrounding the centre stone is one such technique. The inside of these jewellery creations is also delicately engraved with openworked gemset scrolling motifs, which adds an element of mystery to the collection. Apart from the choice of exquisite, classical and almost colourless diamonds of rare quality, Gruosi has also used the vivid colours of rubies, emeralds, blue sapphires, black diamonds and onyx, thereby making the de Grisogono a rare treat for the woman of exceptional taste.
With Fabergé, you are spoilt for choices. The Maison has introduced four collections that showcase originality, fine workmanship and artistry.
