Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with L’Oreal Paris celebrated her completing 15 years at the Cannes Film Festival. As the brand ambassador of the cosmetic giant, Aishwarya has been representing the brand at the Cannes Film Festival year on year. Since her debut on the Cannes red carpet in 2002, Aishwarya’s public appearances at the Festival have been met with eagerness, admiration and criticism.
At a media event in Mumbai, she unveiled the Infallible Never Fail Make-up Range by L’Oreal Paris, which pays tribute to the never-say-die spirit of power women such as Aishwarya herself. She spoke at length about her experiences with the brand and at Cannes. She was questioned by the media regarding the opportunity offered at Cannes to Indian movies, to which she replied that she was happy to see Indian cinema gaining recognition at such a prestigious platform.
The brand aims to encourage women to talk about their infallible moments and share their stories of strength. The tagline for the range in line with the film festival was – ‘I may not be infallible yet I Cannes.’
The Infallible Collection includes Silkissime Eye Pencils, Liquid Foundation, Press Powder and a range of lipsticks, gloss and lip liners.
Another L’Oreal Paris ambassador and a regular face at the French Riviera, Sonam Kapoor, in a heartwarming gesture congratulated Aishwarya on her achievement.
L’Oreal Paris announced that Aishwarya will be attending the event on 13th and 14th of May, while Sonam will be present on 15th and 16th of May.
Aishwarya concluded the press conference with high hopes for her upcoming film ‘Sarabjit.’
