Whether you’re planning to ride along the Southern coast or over a rough hilly terrain, there’s a bike for every rider. Take a pick from these five drool-worthy Ducati models.
Ducati 959 Panigale
Poised between road and track, between pure performance, technology and effortless handling, the 959 Panigale sports a breathtaking design. The superbike shares the same innovative stylistic features that characterise its ‘bigger brother’, the 1299 Panigale – but with an engine designed for a more enjoyable everyday riding experience. Every last detail of the 959 Panigale pays tribute to Ducati’s legendary racing heritage. The ideal adrenaline booster, we say!
Ducati 1299 Superleggera
The evolution of Ducati’s superbike continues with the official release of the new 1299 Superleggera at EICMA. It’s the first road bike to feature a carbon fibre frame, swingarm, subframe and wheels. Ducati also claims that the bike’s engine is the most powerful factory twin-cylinder ever built, making it the most technologically advanced production superbike ever in the world. The Ducati 1299 Superleggera is the finest concoction of engineering, technology and performance – in a limited edition of just 500 bikes.
Ducati Monster 1200
When Ducati designers started working on the new Monster 1200, they drew their inspiration from the basics behind that ground-breaking 1993 model: the concept of a “sport naked bike”. The Monster 1200 is packed with new design and content, but with true Ducati naked flair. The Monster 1200 is Monster through and through. Its shaping, silhouettes, fuel tank and headlight are faithful to the lines of the bike that came out in 1993. The iconic, unmistakeable steel tank has once again been fitted with an attachment clip, just like the first Monster.
The SuperSport is for those who love to ride on everyday roads. Infused with true Ducati sports styling and zest, the SuperSport makes riders feel like racers: every day. A lean and mean road machine, the SuperSport has an approachable feel thanks to easy handling, the confidence-inspiring Ducati Safety Pack, the awesome price-quality ratio of the equipment and the long maintenance intervals. Agile on city streets, comfortable on the motorway and superlative on out-of-town twisties, the SuperSport is super versatile. What’s more, its 16-litre fuel tank makes it a cool companion on medium-distance rides.
The Ducati XDiavel brings together two worlds: the Cruiser world – low speeds, relaxed riding, long journeys and feet forward ergonomics – and the Ducati world characterised by Italian style, refined engineering and unparalleled performance. The XDiavel ensures the “low speed excitement” typical of a Cruiser and the adrenaline rush of sports riding that Ducati has made its own. That’s what the X in XDiavel stands for: the merging of two apparently separate, distant worlds on one bike, a superb combination where both are accomplished without compromise.
